An Irishman in Somerset I am an Irish man originally from Waterford on the South East Coast of Ireland I have been living in Somerset since 2010 and and been visiting in the 1990ies. I have lived in Burnham On Sea and Glastonbury Town.
I suffer with PTSD and my you tube channel is about my happy memories so I can cope when I get PSTD I can get through a PTSD episode by looking back at my happy memories. My channel covers various interests such as hanging out in The Volunter Network Allotment. Goings On in Glastonbury Town Exploring Glastonbury and The West Country. I am also a fan of Physical Media and I like to show off my movie and music collections. I also like Watches. My motto is More than one hobby

I remember visiting a record store on Barronstrand and Woolworths in Waterford back in the 70's and 80's also. All those albums were promoted on TV and sold well. Happy days.My mother got me The Ultimate Performance for Christmas.

@@SteveOSpielberg Yes that's it, couldn't remember the name.I passed through Waterford on the way to Tramore for a fly-in visit earlier this month. I think Sinnots is long gone. I used trawl through Waterford looking for anything Elvis including second hand stores and markets. Its all changed now and probably for the better. I feel very lucky to have grown up in that time and place.

I'm not a Beatles fan, but I have that album on CD, which I got in the early 90s. I like Frank Zappa's piss-take on the Pepper cover. His album is aptly titled We're Only In It For The Money.

Right on. I still remember buying my first White Album. It was in Germany in 1975 when I was 11. . It looked pretty much the same. Lent it out to my cousin at some point. Got it back two years later, totally trashed. Oh well. I think I have about five copies now in various condition.

I miss news paper and white paste on empty shop windows these big photos with natural scenes are a bit middle class for me , Bristols empty shops are covered in corn fields full of poppy's, so pretentious 😉
